Inventing while brown? Authorities caught wind of an inventor of Egyptian descent ground testing a drone at a Long Island airport and went off on a tangent investigating him as a potential terrorist.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Last time I checked this was still a free country. How we as individual choose to do things is our business, not yours.

If the engineer had been a white guy from Peoria, I'll bet we never would have heard of this at all.

Did he have permission to be there? Surely you can't just go out to an airport with a drone without someone allowing it. Weird story.
