Only problem with this is that is that you can't trample on the rights of people (especially innocent people) in your effort to achieve what you might think is a nobler goal.

Hmm... like the volunteer medics who were chased down, assaulted & arrested? Right.
Apparently the rioter were stealing human waste from the porta-potties:

So I guess a need for secure porta-potties will come up in their "lessons learned" analysis.
