The x-ray photos I added here were taken 2 days after police were called to my house by a neighbor in the early evening. 3 friends were there for a cookout, I can only assume that she was not happy to hear people outside after 8pm. It wasn't until 9:45 or so when I heard the knocking @ my front door. I was in the another part of the house catching up w/ my friendgirls, so one of my guests answered. I joined him @ the door a few moments later. The "officers" informed me that they had gotten a call from a "concerned" neighbor saying that she thought someone might be "in trouble" inside my residence. They asked, or more demanded, that I let them in to "make sure everyone inside was alright". I abided, I had nothing to hide. @ that point One of the "officers" asked my only male guest to speak w/ him in the other room while I escorted the other "officer" through the house. He accompanied me to where my other friends were talking (& a little unnerved)in the next room. He asked if we had been drinking. Yes, we had. We were all of age by almost a decade, in a private residence. I really don't uderstand why, but after we answered his questions, he got very agitated. He started picking up things on my dresser and shining his flashlight in corners and behind furniture. Of course, at that point I felt slightly violated.(though that was nothing compared to what happened next). I asked him in a courteous manner if he could leave, reasoning that he had in fact "made sure everyone was alright". He refused. Saying,w/ hostility "I'll decide when it's time for us to leave." Then, he decided to insult my home, and housekeeping. It worked, I was provoked, aggravated. I asked him again to leave, though I was not as polite in my tone, I still used the words "please" and "Sir".As you can guess, the reply was faultfinding. He asked me to come w/ him to my den, where my boyfriend was w/ the other lawman. I was walking behind him when his partner came into the hallway to ask the situation. He(the one I was behind)turned to me, looked @ his partner and said "this bitch is testing me!" I then demanded that they leave my house, "there is nothing illegal going on" I said.I also informed them that I knew the prosecutor for the city personally.I worked for his wife. He then informed me that he "didn't give a sh*t if I worked for George W. f*cking Bush" and that I was going w/ him. I of course asked why? what are my charges? what did I do? non of which were answered. I was handcuffed & led out my front door.As I was being commanded onto the stoop,(by both of them), someone lost their footing and I toppled into the bushes below. They both jumped on me.Holding me down, kicking me, shoving my face into the dirt and leaves. I remember trying to get up,I was instead yanked up. I remember someone in front of me holding me still, I heard someone say "OKAY GO!". Then..PAIN.as my body went rigid, the someone holding me up let go.I fell face first onto the pavement of my walkway, busting open my forehead. I couldn't feel that at all.I don't remember much after that. Not sure if from the trauma or the voltage but all that I was fully aware of after that was another shot of pain, screaming, asking why?.I only know what my friends saw. I was shot again as they were dragging my limp frame up the walkway to the street.I was shackled in addition to the cuffs. When we got to the street, that's when they really started enjoying themselves.@ least that's what witnesses (my friends) told me. I do remember more cops showing up, asking why?, crying, begging for one of them to do something. From what i've been told I was being tossed around like some kind of doll for their amusement.I do remember the pain again, somehow I knew it was coming that time and I remember pleading for help.then screaming for it w/ the last shot of 50,000 volts. I don't know how or when my arm was broken.I didn't even realize there was something wrong w/ it until I was in the car.I thought it was out of socket b/c I couldnt raise it or move my elbow.the arresting cop said I was faking. The EMS came to the intake cell. They calmed me down, told me I was in shock.I was taken to the hospital.I was x-rayed(haven't seen that one yet),put in a sling and medicated.(I refused narcotics, though the nurse advised against it).And befriended by,believe it,a cop.he was assigned to stay w/ me.I could tell that he was ashamed by what had happened. He drove me back to intake.I was held only 4 hours. The intake officer said it was because of my medical condition.I was never booked, searched, never got my mugshot.I was released at dawn.walked out w/ a broken arm,no shoes,no wallet, lacerations from head to toe,& just enough cash to get myself home.3 hrs. after I made it home,an officer knocked on my door.1 of my friendgirls had stayed, she opened the door.He handed her 6 citations, all misdemeanor charges.
So.....thats my story. Thats my Taser experience, my knowledge. Thank you for reading it. I wrote this, really, for myself. writing about it helps me to purge my angst. Though,I can hope @ least,it might induce people who are so quick to side w/ authority in cases like these.....to question.
after surgery...They said i'm lucky to have full use of it!
